Anne Marshall Obituary

     Mrs. Anne D. (Makuch) Marshall, 91, a resident of North Olmsted, Ohio, formerly of Wilkes-Barre, entered into Eternal Life peacefully Tuesday at Huntington Woods Health Center in Westlake, Ohio following a recent illness.

     Born March 10, 1927 in Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter to the late Theodore and Anna (Purvin) Makuch, the youngest of seven siblings.  Educated in the city schools, she was a graduate of the James M. Coughlin High School, Wilkes-Barre.

     Mrs. Marshall spent most of her adult life in the Cleveland, Ohio area and its west side suburbs.  Until her retirement, she worked for many years as a bookkeeper while raising her three children. 

     Anne loved family, music, singing and dancing was a talented ballroom dancer, spending many happy times dancing at the German Central Club in Cleveland.

     Following her retirement, she was a volunteer for many years and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  She loved to travel and never missed a family gathering whether in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Indiana or Florida.  She is remembered by those who knew and loved her as being a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, great-aunt and friend.

     She was preceded in death by her older brothers and sisters including Margaret Dysleski, Violet Drozd, Joseph Makuch, Theodore Makuch, Frank Marko and most recently Chester Makuch.

     Left to mourn her passing are her beloved children, Robert Anderson and his wife Kathleen of North Olmsted, Ohio; James Anderson and his wife Terri of Cadillac, Michigan and Marie Abbott and her husband Bernard of Indianapolis, Indiana;  Seven grandchildren; Ten great-grandchildren; Numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and dear friends.

     Funeral services for Mrs. Marshall will be conducted on Monday morning with a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in the Parish of Saint Andre Bessette, 668 North Main Street, Wilkes-Barre with the Reverend Kenneth M. Seegar, pastor, serving as celebrant and homilist.

     Interment with the Rite of Committal will follow in Mount Olivet Diocesan Roman Catholic Cemetery, Mount Oivet Road, Wyoming.

     Relatives and friends may join Anne's family for visitation and remembrances Monday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass directly at the church.
