     Mr. Lawrence P. "Larry" Herron, 57, a resident of Dallas, passed into Eternal Life unexpectedly Monday evening at his residence.

      Born in Kingston on June 28, 1960, he was a son to the late Bernard and Ann (Kemmerer) Herron.  Educated in the local schools, Larry was a member of the 1978 graduating class of the former Hanover Area High School.  He furthered his education by attending the Johnson School of Technology in Scranton for vocational training.

     Prior to his untimely passing, Larry was employed with his family as a mason with Quality Masonry of Nanticoke for several years.

     Left to mourn his passing are his beloved wife, the former Joanne G. Furman, at home.  The couple shared some twenty-eight years of life together.  He also leaves behind his step-daughter, Jasie C. Hunter of Swoyersville and her daughters Julia and Lydia Andrick; His brother, Bernard Herron of Wilkes-Barre; Nieces Bernadette Hayes and her husband Jay of Ashley and Kelly Zakarauskas of Wilkes-Barre and his nephew, friend and co-worker, John Zakarauskas along with his wife Lorraine of Nanticoke; Several great-nephews, and dear friends.

     Funeral services for Larry will be private and at the convenience of his wife and family.  Interment with the Rite of Committal will be in Saint Mary's Roman Catholic Cemetery, 1594 South Main Street, Hanover Township.  The Reverend Alex J. Roche STL, pastor of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Parish, Lake Silkworth will serve as celebrant.
