Mrs. Julia Ann "Julie" (Sovan) Klocko, 67, a resident of Inkerman, Jenkins Township; passed peacefully into Eternal Life Tuesday morning of Holy Week following a prolonged illness at Hospice of the Sacred Heart Inpatient Unit, Dunmore.

Born on Friday, October 8, 1954 in Wilkes-Barre, she was one of six children to the late Charles Jr. and Alice L. (Cole) Sovan.

Educated in the Pittston schools, she was a graduate of the Pittston Area High School.   Being an elder daughter, she assisted in the raising of her five siblings during their childhood.

Following her education, Julie took employment with the former Rex Shoe Company of Exeter.  It was in her youth, she would meet her "hometown sweetheart', Mr. Joseph A.      Mrs. Klocko was a member of Saint John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Pittston.  Fraternally, she held membership in the Lithuanian Club of Inkerman.

Julie is remembered as being a loving, devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend to her adoring family.  Her physical presence will be greatly missed by all those she touched in this life.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers James Sovan in 1966 and more recently by Charles N. Sovan on July 6, 2017.

Left to cherish the wonderful memories they keep of her in addition to her beloved husband Joe at home, are the couple's children, her "beautiful blessings"; Joseph Jr. and his companion, Amy Fatz of Honesdale; Joelle Marianacci and her husband Dominic of Dallas.  Five Grandchildren, including Kyla Klocko; Karyn Klocko; Julian Klocko; Dominic Joseph Jr. and Maya Azalea Marianacci;  Sisters, Ann Marie Roberts of Pittston; Jackie Kosisky and her husband Dan of Inkerman; Betty Lou Kasisky and her husband Michael of Pittston; Several nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Funeral services for Julie will be conducted on Easter Tuesday with her funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. in Saint John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 35 William Street, Pittston with the Reverend Joseph P. Elston, pastor, serving as celebrant and homilist.  Those attending are asked to assemble directly at church Tuesday by 9:15 a.m.
