Mr. Theodore D. "Ted" Sepkoski, 31, a resident of Wilkes-Barre's Miners Mills neighborhood, passed unexpectedly into eternal life Saturday evening at his residence.
Born on Tuesday, June 30, 1992 in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, he was one of five children to Diane (Kearney) Stoffel of Blakeslee and the late Thomas Sepkoski.
Educated in the city schools, Ted was a 2010 graduate of the former James M. Coughlin High School, Wilkes-Barre. He furthered his education by taking courses at the Luzerne County Community College, Nanticoke.
Ted was currently employed as a production associate at the InterMetro Corporation, Wilkes-Barre.
In his spare time, he loved being outdoors and enjoying skateboarding. He was also quite talented as a self-taught guitarist, and would often play for his family and friends. Above all, Ted was a loving son, brother and friend to all who knew him. His presence will be greatly missed in this life.
Ted was recently preceded in death by his father, Thomas Sepkoski on December 21, 2021 and by a cousin, Maximillian "Max" Mukerjee on February 14, 2020.
Left to cherish the memories they keep of him in addition to his mother Diane and step-father, Earl Stoffel of Blakeslee, are his longtime companion, Tori Herbert of Wilkes-Barre; Brothers and sisters including Tara Sepkoski of Wilkes-Barre; Thomas L. Sepkoski and his wife, Aubri of Shavertown; John Sepkoski, at home and Deseray James and her husband Ronald of Pittston. Nieces and nephews; Kaden, Evan and Troy Sepkoski; Alexis and Trinity Lecitshon and Patience Kearney; Several cousins, aunts and uncles including Mr. Bruce and Mrs. Karen Sepkoski of Miners Mills; Fellow co-workers and dear friends.
Memorial funeral services for Ted will be conducted privately and at the convenience of the family from the John V. Morris Family Funeral Home Inc., 625 North Main Street, Wilkes-Barre.
